Sprinkled with chopped Pistachios and infused with a hint of pesto, these cheesy star-shaped hors d’oeuvres will melt in your mouth. You’re sure to be the star of the party with these savory bites.

 Pesto with Basil  (7 oz.)
 Freshly Shredded Parmesan Cheese

BEAT butter and pesto in large mixer bowl until light and creamy. Stir in cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese. Gradually add 1 1/4 cups flour; stir until combined. Turn dough onto lightly floured work surface and knead 4 times. Divide dough equally into 4 balls. Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate for 30 minutes.

PREHEAT oven to 375° F. Line baking sheets with foil.

ROLL 1 dough ball into 1/8-inch-thick rectangle on lightly floured surface. Cut dough with 2-inch star-shaped* cookie cutter; place 1-inch apart on prepared baking sheets. Repeat with remaining dough balls. Brush tops of stars with egg white; sprinkle with nuts.

BAKE for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.

*Other cutter shapes may be used
