Thinly sliced and caramelized red and yellow bell peppers, onions and garlic combine with sweet Italian sausage tortellini in a sweet and savory taste sensation. Garnish with chopped fresh basil to add a little color flair to this delectable dish.

Tasty and quick for weeknight meals
This recipe is great! We call it "Fenway Pasta" in our family because it reminds us of the sausage sandwiches we get outside the ballpark. Have patience, low and slow really blends the flavors, and the liquid given off by the veggies coats the pasta nicely.

Wonderful!
This is such an easy and flavorful meal! I was sceptical at first because there isn't a sauce, but if made correctly, the caramelized vegies give the meal LOTS of flavor. Even my picky husband loved it and I'm making it for the 2nd time tonight. Great with an easy salad and even bread if you like!

Wow!
I was hesitant to make this after reading the last review. The sausage tortellini is key and I added 4 cloves of garlic and put them in after 10 minutes. Also salted and peppered when I started sauteeing. Yummy!

A good Start
This recipe was ok, but I hit a few snags. My grocery store did not carry the sweet sausage tortellini required to make this, so I used a different flavor of Buitoni tortellini. Also, looking at the finished product, before I served it, it seemed like it needed something else, because the tortellini did not mix well with the vegetables, so I took a few of the red peppers out and put them in the blender with a little bit of cream of onion condensed soup and a little water, to make a light sauce that helped give the tortellini a better flavor, and helped everything stick together a little better.
